The conference registration fee covers all conference materials, coffee breaks, lunches and attendance to the Welcome Mixer held on the first day of the conference (15th of September). The dinner fee covers a 3-course menu and drinks.

The Welcome Mixer will be held on Monday, the 15th of September, at the conference venue.

The Networking Dinner will be held on Tuesday, 16th September at Lakeside Pavilion from 6:30 pm to 10 pm. This will be a 5 min walk from the conference venue.

post-conference tours on Thursday 18th of September 9am-12pm: CSIRO will be offering guided tours of several facilities supporting biomedical translation

  • Biomedical Materials Translational Facility – Features a regulated cleanroom for wet chemistry, materials synthesis, surface modification, and fabrication of medical device components. Certified to ISO9001:2015, enabling development and manufacture of materials for preclinical assessment and Phase I trials in Australia.
  • National Vaccines and Therapeutics Laboratory (NVTL) – A pilot-scale, single-use facility and QC laboratory for biologics such as vaccines, antibodies, and antibody-drug conjugates. Current products have been used in preclinical and Phase I studies, with a TGA clinical manufacturing licence application in progress to support GMP manufacture to Phase II. The QC laboratory also supports external projects, including stability studies and biophysical/biochemical testing.
  • FloWorks – CSIRO’s Centre for Industrial Flow Chemistry – Supports process development for active pharmaceutical ingredients and the derivatisation of drugs for conjugation to antibodies.
  • The tours will be facilitated by Lewis Blackman, Sharon Orr, Andrea North, Alvin Lo, James Gardiner, and Judy Scoble
